Hello,

I have been working on a program that generate big core
files (between 300 to 2000 megs). When I do not use them,
I'm used to delete them. I just noticed that my real memory
used isn't what it pretend to be.

I just deleted à 1.8g file and my free memory is still the
same (500 megs) and of course my recycle bin is empty.
I've used all the tools I have to try recovering it but it
just don't work.

does anyone have a solution to recover my lost memories?

Thank you

Hard drives do not have memory - thay have space.

Memory is a function of the amount of RAM on your computer.

Right click the drive in "my computer" and select properties then
click "Disk cleanup" (next to the pie chart) that should free up some
space. then defragment your drive
