Hard drive not showing up in bios boot priority

Hello,

My computer BSOD and when I restarted my SSD is no longer in my boot priority, it is however showing up as a bootable drive, and I can boot to it fine, but when I start the PC it tries to default boot to another drive with linux now and not my Windows SSD. Any idea on how to fix this?

Try reset of the BIOS into defaults.

Try swapping connections on your motherboard SATA, there should be 3 GB/s slot, 6GB/s and third party SATA slot.

If you can try another drive into your system to check whether you drive is faulty.

that didn't work for me do you know what else might work?

Have you put the SSD to SATA_1 port (not the third party SATA port)?
How is the clock/date on the bios, is it correct?

Oh the problem has already been solved in another thread it's just that I plugged in my hard drive to SATA POWER 1 on my mother board and not directly into my psu like a noob! It all worked out fine and I'm happy I built my own PC!
