Greetings, I have some Seagate 160gb hard drive. I used it every day until couple of days. I shut down Pc normaly in the evening andwhen I tried to turn it on in the morning,HDD didn't spin anymore. When I connect the power cable to it,there is apsolutly no vibration or noise coming from HDD and it is not recognised in the bios. Any way I can revive it one last time to save data from it.
P.S Before failure, S.M.A.R.T was reporting that drive was working normaly and in great condition.

Even though you tried the power I think it's a power issue. I had a hdd before that wasn't recognized by windows, but was powered. Generally if it's a dead hdd you would hear a long continuous beep as I did. The fact that you are hearing nothng tells me it's power. As well as that make sure your sata connectins are working, as if it's not pwer, making no noise, and not being recognised, it could just as easily be a sata problem.
