Hi, I have a hard drive that crystal disk and hdtune says has bad sectors. I ran chkdsk and it did not identify any. Is one more accurate than another? I guess there isn't a way to fix retired sectors. I just have to watch the drive as it will eventually die. Are there better hard drive utilities that I can try?

Thanks

Yes, you are right. I misspoke and realized it when I read your reply. I have reallocated sectors. Crystal says this drive runs hot as well.

Also for some reason, the program will not recognize the RPM speed on a couple of my drives, but it will on the others.
