Just brought a new WD 14TB hdd, installed it and then my 4TB WD black decided to stop working. When I open windows hdd partition it says can't initialize due to i/o error.
Things I have tried:
Any ideas? Is the drive jealous it has less space or something? Every single game is on the drive, would love to fix this.
Things I have tried:
- Unplugged and plugged back in
- Swapped to known good sata power and data cables(3 different ones) Those other drives using the exact same cables are working.
- Removed drive and placed into external enclosure, drive boots up and PC sees it. Ran the windows drive scanner, no problems. No data is missing.
