Hello everyone, simple question for you
Upon upgrading my GPU to a GTX 960 from a 730gt, I've been carefully monitoring my temps for my system using Open Hardware Monitor to be sure everything is ok! Sure enough everything is fine, and both my GPU and CPU are within good levels.
However, I noticed my Seagate 3TB HDD (model: ST300DM001) is getting up to 50 degrees give or take a degree or two when playing graphically intense games (for example Crysis 2) and idles around 40 degrees when just doing general stuff on the computer i.e browsing, email etc.
Having googled this, Seagate themselves say anything up to 60 degrees is completely normal with operating levels averaging between 5-50 degrees, at which I'm at the higher end of.
If anyone can give me their thoughts on this that would be great!
Thanks in advance!
