please help me out, i am not an expert about partitioning, but i made a merge of partitions and then when i am done, files of mine are not visible already though they occupy space on my hard disk only three same folders and their same sub folders are present but no files are there, please help me out i hve a lot of important files there!

Your files might have been linked to one of the partitions that you 'merged' aka deleted. If thats the case, better hope you do regular backups...

Yes it pays to avoid partition work on a drive that has data.


Try this software out to see if you can recover your files and or partitions.
