I'm having problems with the raid controller that comes standard on the evga x58 sli mb with an Intel i7-920 2.66GHz processor and I'm running windows 7. I'm using 4 WD SATA 3, 1 terabit drives and I using 12gb of DDr1333 mem.
The on board raid controller keep showing a failed HD. I have replace the drive and after restarting the PC and it shows
I have another failed HD in a different position. I have tested the drives and they are fine. All the windows drivers have been
updated. I think the onboard controller can't handle the data transfer. So any ideas or recommendation for a good controller for windows 7.
