Does an ASRock H97 PRO4 Motherboard go well with an Intel® CoreTM i7-4770K, 3.50GHz, Haswell, Socket 1150 inside a Segotep Fighter C Black-Red ?

Will be followed by an ASUS Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II 4GB DDR5 512-bit and HyperX Beast 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit and OCZ Fatal1ty Series 550W PSU

Will there be any compatibility issues ? If anyone had this motherboard and maybe in a system like this could answer this, I would really appreciate it.

I already own the CPU. My current motherboard is http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5Q_SE/ and it annoys me that the memory caps at 16GB and the expansion slot for the GPU is PCIe 2.0 x16

If I'm going with the Radeon R9 290 or the GeForce GTX 960 OC WindForce 2X 2GB DDR5 128-bit, these require PCI Express x16 3.0 so I have to upgrade my motherboard to something better. Hope I'm not wrong in any way, it's been a while.

What motherboard would you recommend in this kind of case ? The final config would be:

Motherboard *insert model here*
Intel® CoreTM i7-4770K, 3.50GHz, Haswell, Socket 1150
Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II 4GB DDR5 512-bit *OR* GeForce GTX 960 OC WindForce 2X 2GB DDR5 128-bit
HyperX Beast 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit (X2)
OCZ Fatal1ty Series 550W PSU

I'm not gonna cheap out for the motherboard, as long as it's good and compatible with the system above it will work. This is very important to me, what would you or anyone reading this recommend ?
