A leaker claims Nvidia's RTX 5060-class GPUs will use the same power connectors as the 4060-class GPUs, despite requiring 100 watts more in the PSU department. Grains of salt sprinkled liberally, as the 4060 Ti Founders Edition used a 16-pin connector.

FE might just be Nvidia doing nvidia stuff (forcing it on you regardless)

AIB's likely will take cheaper option to make most profit & 8pin is likely cheaper to produce & a 60 tier (even if 100w more) will not surpass the 8pin's rated delivery.

More important from the power connector, I hope that nvidia will use fast gddr7 vram and not the slowest, that will compensate for the small 128bit bus and will be an acceptable budget purchase.
