Hello guys, as the title suggests I attempted to install new ram today which has caused my moniter and keyboard to stop working regardless of any combination of ram I try using. I am using a ASUS P7P55 LX motherboard and previously had 2x2 crucial cards, today I attempted to install 2x4 Corsair vengeance along side my other cards which ever since has caused the issues. I have tried many different combinations to resolve this issue but nothing is working(e.g. reverting the old setup, using a single 2 card, using only the corsair cards, and using no cards at all) nothing I do makes a difference and I can't get the monitor to display anything at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Will removing the cmos battery help? I attempted to do so earlier but couldn't get it to budge so gave up in fear that i'd cause damage to the computer if i applied to much force. Also would it be more efficient to completely replace the old crucial cards with the new corsairs, or to run them side by side( the motherboard has 4 slots)
thanks in advance kfitz
