Hardware Upgrade Compatibility help

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my hardware in order to run some of the more modern games, but am having a hard time figuring out the compatibility of certain things. If you guys can suggest some upgrades I can make to my system that would be appreciated.

MOBO: Foxconn 2A92
-Expansion Slots: 3 * PCI Express x1
1 * PCI Express x16 (2.0)
1 * PCI Express Mini (half height)
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 630
RAM: 4GB DDR3
PSU: 250W


I understand I will need to upgrade the PSU (~$100) and need a graphics card (around $200 range), can you guys make some suggestions as to which specific products will work with my system.

Probably don't need a $100 PSU. Get something with the right wattage by Antec, SeaSonic or XFX- it'll be about $50 I suspect. And I wouldn't go past a GTX 950 for what I would put with that. 4GB of RAM and a SSD will take it a long way, though.

Well, that CPU is ancient and I wouldn't suggest any upgrade, except intel skylake or AMD ZEN.
But, if you really want to upgrade, go for a GTX 750Ti and a Seasonic S12/S12G PSU, around $60 and very good.

EDIT: Never buy Foxconn motherboards, me and my friends have had very bad experiences with them.
