Question Has Anyone Else Seen a Status Reversal During HP Factory Custom-Built Order Tracking?

Hi,

I recently ordered an OMEN 45L on the 18th of December, and I’ve been monitoring the order status daily. Yesterday, it showed that everything was complete: "In Queue", "Gather Components", "Build Custom Unit(s)", and even "Quality Test & Pack" were all checked off. But today, the checkmark for "Quality Test & Pack" is suddenly gone, and the status hasn’t progressed to “To Ship.” The progress bar is still stuck on “Assembling Order,” and it feels like something went wrong.

Here’s my biggest concern: In my worst-case scenario, I’m imagining that the shipping box took a hard hit or drop while being handled, and now they’re unpacking everything to recheck for damage. I know it might be unlikely, but I’ve dealt with situations like this before (i.e., a fragile item arriving damaged after rough handling). It’s frustrating because I don’t want a system that’s already been potentially weakened, even if it passes the initial tests.

Has anyone else seen something like this with HP’s order tracking? What could cause the system to revert a step like this, especially after it seemed complete and all ready to ship?

Any insights or similar experiences would be really helpful. Many thanks!
