Has anyone ever had an issue with Cyberpowerpc voiding a warranty.

So I bought a pc from cyberpowerpc back in February everything worked great up until last weekend, when I started getting blue screen errors, different Blue screen Errors, multiple different errors like memory management, or system thread exception, so on..(cant exactly recall all of them) I couldn't troubleshoot myself, I tried everything and eventually called Cyberpowerpc c.s. to request an RMA to send in for repair. This is where my concern starts, When I bought the PC 8gb of ram, so I upgraded to 16 about 2 months later, it has had the new ram in it for 4 months before this problem occurred and when I installed it I called c.s. to make sure it would not void the warranty by upgrading, I was told it wouldn't, also since I'm not all that tech savvy I even asked the c.s. rep how to go about installing exactly and he talked me through it more or less, now when I called for the RMA repair the c.s. agent almost made it seem as if me upgrading the ram may have been the cause and that it may void the warranty. He was almost persistent on this, when I called back that c.s. agent had even put it in the notes on their end that I put ram in and got blue screen errors making it seem as if I had just put the ram in when in reality it has been in the pc for months with no issue. So now I'm extremely nervous as to what may happen, and they will be servicing my pc for the next 20 days I may not find out if they will honor the warranty for another 10 days or more, has anyone on this site dealt with their customer service dept and or tech department. Am I stressing for nothing? Or did I just pay to have it shipped just so they can say it's not their problem?

Solution
Adding RAM, as the only variable isn't likely to "break" anything. They'll remove it & verify whether the issue remains or not.

I guess it's possible they could claim you upgrading the RAM somehow damaged something, but they'd be hard pressed to prove it - and I doubt they'd even attempt it.
CBPC (and other similar offerings) are hardly known for their amazing customer service, unfortunately.

Realistically, they're not going to provide warranty on the memory you added, only the unit they sold/shipped to you.
Did you replace the 8GB, or add to the 8GB?

They should (and you should've) remove the "new" ram first & foremost, then work from there. If the issue persists, the issue isn't with the memory you added. If it doesn't persist, then it's likely related to the memory you added (or the mismatched nature), and they have no responsibility to warrant that.

No, I didn't replace the ram I added more, so it was originally 2×4 8gb I upgraded to 4×4 16gb. I understand they will only replace the ram I purchased with my PC when I ordered, that's not what I'm worried about, when I talked to their c.s. dept, they suspected it may be a motherboard issue and the ram may have caused it, I'm worried that even though nothing was physically damaged when I upgraded the ram to 16gb myself, That they may still void my warranty. The ram was the same brand, same speed and same voltage, both patriot viper. 3000mhz 1.35v I believe. Only difference was they weren't the same exact model. I'm nervous because of the very poorly trained c.s. rep that perhaps they'll void my warranty simply because I upgraded the ram myself and may refuse to replace my motherboard.

You need to re-read the warranty process for CyberPowerPC. It may simply state that any changes, not performed by Cyberpowerpc, to the system will void your warranty. If this is the case, they will typically place a small piece of tape over the removable side and the case. If that tape is broken (i.e. you removed the case side panel), your warranty is null and void.

@Wolfshadw from what I've seen in their warranty agreement is only if an upgrade was to cause physical damage would the warranty be void, and thats also what their c.s. rep told me as well when I performed the upgrade. I just never dealt with this company before and am just nervous as to what to expect. They don't really have the greatest track record either so that's also unnerving.
