Haswell sleep state compatibility issues

I have a seasonic s12ii psu that i am planning to use on a system running a i5 4th gen(haswell)cpu.

However i have heard that this psu doesn't support something called haswell's sleep states-could that possibly cause any performance or stability issues if this power supply is used with such a system?

Would disabling the sleep states from the bios prevent any further problems from occurring?In particular which sleep state should i disable to achieve this?(the motherboard that i am using has 3 of them,namely c1,c3 and c6/c7-is the last setting the one that needs to be disabled,or should i just disable all of them at once?)

Yes, disabling the sleeps states will prevent any possible issue with the sleep states. C6 and C7 are the ones you need to disable. On many boards they are disabled by default.

thanks for confirming this-i will be disabling c6/c7 states after installing this psu-by default they seem to be on "auto".The board itself is a Gigabyte b85 m d3h A
