Have got windows 8 but cannot connect to my wireless connection

I have just bought a new desktop pc with windows 8. I have also bougt a Netgear WNA3100 wireless usb adapter. I cannot connect to my wireless network and keep getting error 651. Can anybody help or suggest a wireless usb adapter that will work with windows 8 please.

Go to Settings and device manager. Go to the Network Adapters and then right-click on the wi-fi adapter and click on update driver software. Then click on "seach automatically for updated driver software." This should find update and your wireless router should then be displayed!
