I was overcooking my Ryzen 5 2609 in new pc. Was testing along the way. In Ryzen master I oced cores 1 and 4 as they were labeled as best over clockers. 3900mhz at 1.14375 fine. Then I tried 4025 MHz and hit apply. Went fine until I tested it in MSI CPU burner. Now the system is frozen and not responding to the off button. Help help help!!!!! Please don't tell me I bricked it....

pull power plug.

reset the motherboard CMOS (refer to motherboard manual).

Start with a defaut setting motherboard and see if this still work.

It is possible that you damaged your CPU, but fair chance that you didn't.
