Have random squares on the screen?

I have an r9 270x TOXIC and a fx 6300 in my system. Both are stock at the moment but i have oc the cpu before.So I was playing Witcher 3 and after like 2 hours of gaming I got weird squares blinking in random parts. I happens sometimes and happened before in Battlefield 4 and Assassins Creed 4. I don't know what causes it but I know that I've had this for some time now. Its just that right now I play witcher a lot and noticed that after 2 hours of gaming this can happen. Is there any reason for this, and is it possible that it is something else besides my GPU dying.

That issue is called "artifacting", caused by a unstable GPU, most likely your GPU is overheating leading to this problem.

Use GPU-Z or HWMonitor Pro to monitor your GPU temps and voltages while gaming, if its going beyond 75ºC+ then overheating is the reason.

Overheating is definitely not a problem. I keep my case door open and my temps stay under 68C

Did find out what the problem was? I have the same problem now, But with different specs tho.

Idk it just stopped awhile ago, maybe new drivers or something.
