have to "underclock"

i ordered a c-600, but i recieved a 633, now i have a abit bm6 and that motherboard only supports till c-600, when i put in the 633, nothing works, not even my screen, how can i make it work? I placed my C-333 back in and everything works back fine

We'll I checked Abit's web site to see if there was a new bios that would support the 633 but the newest one only supports up to 600. Where did you get the 633 you could always take it back or wait to see if they come out with a new bios.

well, meanwhile i have been testing, i can adjust all the settings in the bios of my motherboard (jumperless). There i have tried to set the settings of a 633 (1.65 V, multiplier: 9.5, fsb: 66MHz), but that didn't work. Neither did the settins of a 600 work. i am planning now to bring back the 633 because i ordered a 600, so i can complain.
