Hi:

Please let me know what you think.

The computer will mostly be used for graphic/web design, digital photography and high def. video editing (AVCHD files). OK...I guess the occasional game may be loaded at some point.

Monitor resolution: 1280 x 1024

Will be buying this week from Newegg.com.

No overclocking.

I agree that the 4890 is unnecessary, especially at that resolution. I would go with something cheap like a 4830 and then pick up another monitor, the extra landscape will really benefit you for what you are doing. When you decide to play a game, the 4830 would be more than enough to handle gaming at 1280x1024.

Make sure you really need the business features found in Ultimate. If you don't then Home Premium is much cheaper and should be fine for you (Ultimate is Home Premium + Business, and I can't make any use of any of the business features so it would be a waste of money for ME to get Ultimate).

If you are going to overclock your PC then a change of case may be in order, but only if you are really going to crank up the voltage. The P183 is a fine case, and the i7 can do 3.6ghz at stock voltages if you get a D0 chip. I ordered from newegg a month ago and got a D0, so I am pretty sure they have cleared out their stock of C0 chips.

The Cooler you picked is good, the coolers that were suggested are a little better and cheaper, which is the main argument for going for them. The one you picked is a good cooler though and will work fine.
