No. Your internet speed is dependent on your ISP and is based on the internet service you're paying for. There is nothing you can do, short of paying for a faster connection (if available), to increase it's speed. Network adapters will only impact your network speed.

no i wont necessarily improve your speed but i can improve what your computer gets from the package you have like i was getting terrible speeds from my modem with one adapter so i got a new one then i had great download speed but terrible internet browsing than i plugged them both in now i have decent speed across the board i trouble shot it twice to make sure i was not imagining anything

Short answer: no.
Long answer: your system can only have one connection to any particular server for one particular thing open at a time. I.e., if you're downloading a file, or watching a movie. You can think of a connection as a plumber's snake (a spring you push through pipes to clear them) connecting your browser to the server. Even if you add a second pipe to your computer, the pipe can still only go through one of them, bandwidth isn't like water that can flow freely wherever there's space to go. You can, however, send it through the second pipe to another server.
In theory, it might let you get more total speed (i.e. download a file and watch a video at the same time). But only if your total internet connection is faster than your wireless bandwidth, which these days is pretty much only possible if you have a really high-end internet connection, i.e. 50-100 Mbit/s, and a really old router or wifi card (i.e. 801.11G, that can only output 54 MBps in the best case scenario, and usually ~1/2 that).
If that's the case, you can try it, sure. But in general, there's no point.
