So I set up my dual monitors today, one is Asus swift pg279q running at 165hz, the other is Samsung 27d850t running at 60hz.
I intended to use the Samsung for video playing or web browsing while playing games on the pg279q. But this is when the problem occurs.
I tried to play World of Warcraft, and the fps drops to 10-20, however, it feels like much lower. But if I turn the second monitor off, the fps goes back up.
I tried switching it to windowed mode/windowed mode(full screen), neither of these fixed my problem.
But, when I accidentally dragged the game to my Samsung monitor, the lag went away, then I drag it back, fps drops again.
Any idea why, and how to fix it?
Both monitors are plugged in using d-port
My PC spec:
Processor Intel i7-4790k
Memory 32 GB
Graphics NVIDIA Geforce GTX Titan X
Operating System Windows 10 Pro
