Question Having problems with new SSD

Hello,
So a couple of weeks ago I bought a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB SSD. Whenever I connected the SSD to the top slot of my motherboard it would not show up in either my bios or Windows. I moved the SSD to one of the lower slots and it showed up in both. I have a different SSD as my boot running Windows 10. After a few days, I tried playing PUBG and the game would crash randomly. With the crash, the game would sometimes be able to be opened again other times it would just crash. Another problem I found was that some of my files in my steam folder I just couldn't open, it would say it just didn't exist and when trying to download something it would say "Disk write error". A simple restart would fix the folder problem but not the crashing. Now today trying to play Warzone I would have the same problem. I have been playing Elden Ring, Lost Ark, Apex Legends, GhostWire: Tokyo, and For Honor all at max settings without any crashes or other problems. Another possible important thing, the SSD I'm using for Windows 10 was my main drive for both games and Windows before I bought the new one, and that drive when playing games on it sometimes would randomly blue screen. I tried using a very very old HDD to run windows while the SSD would run my games and it worked. I thought that maybe the SSD wasn't able to run games and both Windows at the same time. I just want to know the fix because I'm starting to lose my mind trying to fix this. PLEASE HELP.

My specs
Motherboard: Asus Tuf Gaming Z590-Plus Wifi
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 280 Super
CPU: Intel Core i9-10900 2.80 GHz
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB(For games, the one not working) Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB (For Windows)
Memory: 48 GB

I think that 1st M.2 slot on the Motherboard closest to the CPU is controlled by the CPU, running a PCIe 4.0 M.2 in that slot is for 11th Generation cpus? what if you put a PCIe 3.0 M.2 in that slot will it work? Maybe only running a Gen 4.0 in that slot requires an 11th gen cpu, maybe a gen3.0 will work

This is when you look at the specs, directly from the manufacturer.

"Only Intel® 11th processors support PCIe 4.0 x4 mode, this slot will be disabled for other CPUs "

Concerning your 980 ssd, are you using the magician control panel for it? Have you made or checked the size of the trim? Are you using most recent driver for the ssd? Sorry forgot to add what bios version are you running for the motherboard?
Going question by question. Yes, I just installed the newest version. And I don't know what the size of the trim is. I checked my drivers last night but didn't get any updates.
Here is my bios
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 0811, 4/6/2021

I'll try playing WZ again to see if it crashes again.
Again I thank you.

Sorry I said trim but I should have said over provisioning, since that is where you would look for it on the magician control panel. Your bios updates go up to 1410 but that is up to you if you want to update it. I would also check your chipset driver for update/s, here is the support site TUF Gaming Z590-PLUS WIFI|Motherboards|ASUS USA You can also use their Intel me update tool to look for updates.

incorrect ram stick memory mhz and volt settings in bios and/or incorrect ram types installed will sometimes be the cause of random blue screen and/or random system crashes and/or screen freeze ups, I had to go into bios to change xmp selection from 3200mhz @1.35volts down to xmp 3000 mhz @1.35v because I was getting random screen freeze ups, all seems ok now running my bios at 3000 mhz 1.35v for the 3200 ram sticks but I do get the odd 5 second freeze up, I suppose the safest spot for those ram sticks is to set the bios settings for them at the standard 2400 mhz 1.20volts and forget about xmp overclocking

Since you posted this I have updated my bios and didn't find a driver for my SSD I just assumed it was the Samsung magician. Now very early this morning playing WZ I had another crash. Im really just stuck now. I really don't want to have to replace parts but if it is my last option I will. When I played WZ alone it did not crash but when I was playing in discord it was lagging and all the voices were behind then my game crashed I don't know if this means anything. Also the Intel me didn't do anything for some reason.

Here are some more SS that might help.

Apex now also crashes

The ssd performance looks fine. At the bottom left of the magician control panel there will be an update tab, click on that and make sure you have the most recent version of software (nvme driver) It says microsoft on your panel for software. Mine says Samsung. Make sure you have newest driver. Your tests all seem fine.
Also, could you go to computer management, event viewer, critical errors and see if it has any entries that coincide with your game crashes/blue screens?

So it says I'm up to date with my SSD and I haven't had a blue screen yet so I haven't checked the event viewer. Also, the /scannow said it fixed a few files. I play games later to see it crashes and check the event viewer.

WOW. SO I have found lots of things. Here they are. So I was playing Black Desert Online and I wasn't even tabbed in the game and it crashes.
