Having some FPS issues with my i-5 7700 and my geforce gtx 1080 turbo

Recently bought and assembled my new pc but comes to show that games like PUBG only get like 70 fps and 180 fps onCSGO so id like to know if its a CPU bottle neck or what. I feel like I should be getting way more frames.

Use a tool that shows the usage of CPU and GPU. The one that is at 100% is the one that bottlenecks the system in these games.

If the CPU is not at 100% it should not be a bottleneck (But look at the single cores for that, it is possible that a game is not using all cores but only 1 to 3 and then the overall usage is only 50-60% even if the game is bottlenecked by the CPU)

You can install a third party programm like MSI Afterburner and look at the CPU usage during a game. The programm shows load on all cores together and on each one seperately. HWMonitor should also be able to show the usage.
