[SOLVED] Having trouble finding an Ethernet cable

I need to wire my room. I need 50ft. I ordered one off amazon that was a flat cat 7, and that stopped working under a month! The cable will run outside about 1 foot from upstairs to downstairs. So it needs to be weather proof. I will have it plugged into a switch into my room, so I can use my Xbox and desktop. I look on amazon and just see so many Chinese crap, I have no clue what to get! I have a gift card for amazon so I’d like to order from there but if there is a better site let me know! My internet is 25down and 3 up with about 25ms latency. The router is a tp link, not sure of exact model but I know it’s not the higher end ones, just one the isp gave me.

For that "one foot cable drop outside": Get one foot of pipe (PVC, or flex conduit), and run your cable inside it. You have probably drilled holes in the wall / window to pass thru the cable, you might as well seal that pipe around.
