Question Having trouble jump starting

Hi I'm trying to jump start a new build and the tpm makes a whining noise and when I go further down it makes a clicking noise I think the mobo is shot can sum1 please help

Your Trusted Platform Module makes a whining noise ?
Got error lights, error codes on MB or beeps from onboard speaker ?
If you don't have one, a 2 prong speaker can be had cheap and is a great tool in troubleshooting MB faults.

Sorry what do you mean by that? You mean not using the power button and just tapping a screwdriver (or far less desirably, your finger) to the power button pins?

Can you discern the noise source? Or at least send us a recording of it? You'll need to upload it to Youtube or Google Drive prior, this forum does not support direct media embed.

And yeah, i would also appreciate it if you could tell us which Debug LED goes off or the BIOS beeps that comes out of it.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

History of heavy use for gaming, video/audio editing, or even bit-mining?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?
