Hi all, my CPU failed so I ordered an exact replacement, it came with a new stock fan. After removing the old stock fan and replacing the processor, I am having so much trouble screwing in the spring-loaded srcews from the new stock fan onto the holes in the motherboard. Photos attached. The screws seem a bit far from the designated holes but the old stock fan worked just fan and I did not move the motherboard at all. Any tips would help!

1 make sure backplate is held up either by non conductive tape or some other means.

Do the screw tightening in a x pattern.
1 and 4 and 2 and 3.

This evens out pressure. If you have 2 screws on the top of the board done then it will make the reach harder you have to fight the retention less this way.
