I built a computer recently but I can't seem to get it to work anymore. It was working perfectly until it shuted down on me while I was downloading some games off the internet. Since I got it to work from the first time it showed in the start screen something that said "CPU Error" but I never paid attention to it because it would go away eventually and I was able to use it after that. I was wondering if anybody could help me with this issue. The CPU fan is running at 3040-3150rpm and the temperature is at 35'C. I was wondering if anyone could help me solve this issue and the parts info I'll put it bellow.
CoolMax Power Supply
ASUS F2 A85-V Pro - MotherBoard
GT430 GeForce - Video Card
AMD Athlon Multicore Processor
Please I need help.

A Few Problems May Cause This=PSU Voltage Not Enough to power CPU and etc,Overheating,Overclocking Failure

i suspect your PSU is not the right voltage as in your cpu could need 50 volts lets say and it runs on 38 volts that might be the problem

borrow another PSU with higher voltage and try again

Re: I was wondering what kind of PSU should I buy? I was thinking of Corsair but I'm not sure about it

Now its Either not enough psu power to drive the fans or the fans are not running because its not plugged in

check if its plugged in to the cpu fan header if not then plug it in after that boot and check if fan is running check also for error sign

And Airflow might be a problem or dust might be a problem to create excess heat

but i can tell you if during boot its too hot it will tell you CPU FAN ERROR even when fans are running.

How would I be able to direct more power towards the CPU fan?

I'm looking through my PSU and I was wondering because I have so many connectors and there is a main connector that is the one that goes in the mother board that powers it but there is another 8 pin connector but I can connect it in various ways because I have 2 pin connectors 4 pin connectors and even 6 and 8 pin connectors.
Which one do you think I should put?
