HD 4670 1gb no audio at all

I just bought a HD 4670 for my newly upgraded computer to windows 7. I would like to use the hdmi audio but it wont even show up under sound devices. I made sure it was turned on in bios, downloaded - upgraded all drivers. still wont show up under sound devices. the computer sees the sound card but it doesnt seem to see the hdmi for the audio. if someone could please help it has been driving me crazy for the past couple of days.

try pluging in your audio cable and hooking it up to a device. are you sure its not the Optical Audio you need to use. HDMI on computers usually dont run both audio and video yet. you'll usually get just video from HDMI and would have to use a Optical Audio cable for sound... which i think is better anyways....
