There is no HD 4850 with GDDR5 memory.
They all use GDDR3.
Still the HD 4850 is better.

The HD 4850 is more powerful, but it is a power hog and it does not support DX11.

If you can save up a little more money, then I recommend the Radeon HD 7750. Pretty powerful for the price that you pay. I am a bit too lazy and tired now to verify, but the Radeon HD 7750 should be around 40% more powerful than the HD 6670 while consuming less power. An important fact if you are limited by a 300w PSU. It is also more powerful than the HD 4850.

he one will have GDDR5 which is much faster than DDR3. I'd go with speed over quantity in this case.
