HD 6870 DRIVERS

hi , when i go to custom install in the driver catalyst i see many things

other than the driver and ccc . do i need those other features or not ?

Not really. I normally remove the free game thing they have going.

So long as you install the driver and the most recent catalyst control centre you'll be fine.

thanks , but i only installed the stand alone 10.12 drivers , because i had an ATIKMDAG.exe bsod 2 days ago then i found this article

so i uninstalled all ati drivers , went to safe mode and used driver sweeper
then installed the stand alone driver 10.12 . been stable since yesterday .
hop the new ccc official release would have this issue addressed .

I'm amazed the atikmdag error still exists after all these years. However, I've been running every version released since I got my HD5850 and never had it. I haven't had the atikmdag error since I had a HD4850, so it can't be the catalyst driver, the problem must be in something else, probably Windows related. Running Vista64.

well it looks like it is the drivers , i removed ccc and net frame work 4 updates
and avg i cleaned up and using the ati driver 10.12 only , i have no idea
if it will happen again or not . i just got this card so anything is possible
but the seems working normally .
