HD 7900 series driver for AMD R9 280X - Blurry, display does not fit monitor

With the AMD Radeon HD 7900 series driver my screen does not properly fit my monitor, I tried using CCC to upscale it but it becomes blurry. The weird thing is that when i uninstall the driver so my computer uses vgasave the screen fits perfectly and the image is sharp.

If it is any help, in the screen resolution settings my monitor is labelled as CVTE TV, 1920x1080

Is this a problem with my monitor or the drivers?

EDIT: the 7900 series driver was automatically installed, I have tried downloading the R9 200 series driver and it does the same thing :/

Never mind, anyone else who has this issue check your monitors aspect ratio settings. I had to set it to original from 16:9.
