I had a GTX1050Ti with no 6pin connector and it worked just fine, it fried so now i'm using an older HD7770 that i had around. The problem is that it shuts down when i try to play any game, it lets me enter the main menu, but when in-game it almost immediately shuts down the PC(tested with CS GO and Borderlands 2). I tried to stress test it with AIDA64 and it worked just fine. It's also worth mentioning that i have a molex to 6pin adaptor to power it, and i think it might not get enough power from it, but that doesn't explain why it worked under aida64 stress test at 100% load. My pc full spec list is
MSI Tomahawk B350
R7 1700
16GB DDR4 Trident Z clocked at 3000
248SSD + 1TB HDD
As for the PSU it's a Seasonic S12II 620 Watt and it should be enough for this GPU, any suggestions will be appreciated, thank you

It's also worth mentioning that i have a molex to 6pin adaptor to power it
And the reason is? S12 has already 6/8pin connectors, why not use them? Molex connectors may sort under load, they are not safe, they melt and i would doubt about the quality of this adapter overall. Also what kind of stress did you run on Aida? To my knowledge it doesn't feature any gpu stress test.

One of my guesses is your graphics card driver. Will it be because the NVIDIA graphics driver still has residue when you use HD7770 will encounter problems.
Hey there, ty for the reply, just fully deleted all nvidia stuff from the pc and i will try to install another verions of AMD drivers, maybe i'll find out which version works better with an older card like this. I will test the result later and come with feedback because i'm currently working.
