So i am a letsplayer for youtube and i try to give the best quality for all of my games. I currently have a roxio pro HD game capture which does capture in 1080 for the 360 xbox one and ps4. I have read if you can bypass the HDcp on the ps3 you can record in 1080 this as well. However i have not been able to find a way to bypass it with hdmi, since if using component cables, you can not record at 1080. Is there any device thats cheap that can strip the signal so that i can record my games at 1080? I do have this that should be coming soon but i do not think it will strip the signal and the less cables i have the better. Thank you in advance. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M6I8K2E/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1CVN9H5QSGDE0

I am aware thats a switcher i listed, since im about to have all my consoles hooked up to it before it goes to my recording device so its easier to record them all and not have to deal with so many cables. I know theres some kind of hardware that strips the signal away but i have yet to find it.

I'm not sure we can help you. Even if your intentions and actions are entirely honest (it certainly is your content), any suggested methods might be usable by others to duplicate copyrighted content off of a PS3. You might try getting those PS3 games in other versions, so you can play them where you won't have this problem.

For some strange reason Sony decided to forcibly enable HDCP for displaying gameplay despite having no legal requirement to do so. Supposedly this is done in hardware, and some speculate that there's no software method to disable it. Unfortunately, there's no legal method of stripping HDCP from a stream. There are devices that are capable of doing this, but they can't legally be imported into the USA.
