Hi all,
I made a big mistake. I installed my new SSD to pc, and I wanted to create a backup of some files on HDD before formatting it. I used a programe but dont remember name of it. In the middle of copying my computer crashed and wouldnt boot anymore.
I went and installed clean windows on new SSD in order to be able to access HDD. Pc works fine now, but I can't access HDD drive through My computer. It shows error E: is not accessible, access is denied. I searched the internet and tried to change ownership as it should be solution, but it didn't help .
However I am able to access drive from WinDirStat programme. I can see all my files there but I cant copy them. Is there I way for me to get some files of that drive? I need some after effects and premiere projects, I will format drive then.

Thank you for your patience.

You can also try Recuva https://www.piriform.com/recuva/features to get your files. There's a portable version as well. Simply select the drive containing your files and run the program. Save the files to your SSD! Do not save them to the same drive you're recovering them from. This program has worked for me every single time I've need to use it.

Let us know if you're successful in retrieving your files.

Best of luck to you!
