Hey guys, just wondering I recently sold my PC and kept the 1tb wd blue HDD with all my files, Windows 10 and games on it, can I just install this in to the new Build and it'll be good to go or? I have a fully amd system in my last build, now I have a Skylake build with a R9 380. Should it all be fine if I use the hard drive, just install the Intel drivers?

Some people successfully uninstall the drivers, and move the hard drive. However this is not recommended. There will almost always be some sort of problem or quirk from doing this. I would definitely recommend re-installing Windows when you build the new PC.

It should be fine, just install the AMD driver. Since CPU have no drivers, therefore it should be fine. But you may need to uninstall any softwares from the old motherboard manufacturer and reinstall the drivers for the new board.

Hmm, all I want is to keep my steam games and stuff on there, is there a way o can fresh install Windows but keep games and files?
