HDD initialization

Hi
i have a 2Tb internal sata3 hdd [WD green]
i connected it with a "sata to usb" connecter into my laptop's usb
i initialized it with the windows Disk Management tool
i copied about 500Gb into it
i connected it with sata into a home pc AND i got a freaky messege that i need to format it
i was afraid that i lost all my data so i connected it back to my laptop's usb & [i think] that all the data is ok
SO - why can't i see it with a home pc?

i'm not running any OS on it
i have it as a storage hdd only

on my laptop i have vista. i initialized it there & backuped stuff into it
then connedted it to my home pc (win7) with sata & it didn't saw it & told me to format it

Are you sure the drive is NTFS?

When you plug it into your motherboard and get the message asking you to format, if you exit the message are you still able to access the drive anyway?

in my home pc i can't access it in no way
if i cancel the format message nothing happens
i'm going to "my computer" & click this drive & see this message again

That is a very strange problem - unfortunately I don't have any more advice. Good luck, though.
