HDD is not being detected by laptop, Alienware 15

So here's the deal, I installed a SSD in an Alienware 15 laptop about... 2 years ago, maybe? As the primary disk, running as the C drive, and I had the original HDD setup as the mass storage. Somehow, somewhere along the way, I suppose the laptop stopped recognizing the HDD. I noticed it about a month ago that it wasn't showing up, and the next time I used it the HDD was there so I didn't think much of it until I used it again, the HDD wasn't being detected. So I literally, 10 minutes ago, just popped open the bottom to see if the connections were loose but the connection is good. When I boot up the BIOs, however, the system tells me the HDD IS plugged in and detected and that the SSD is the one not being detected. So now I'm perplexed.

As I'm writing this, I just rebooted the laptop from running a diagnostics on it, which it did tell me there were one or more errors but failed to tell me what the error is. Anyways, the laptop booted and the HDD is recognized and is accessible from Windows.

I don't know why the HDD keeps getting disconnected and reconnecting, varying every time I boot up the laptop. Hopefully someone on here has had experience with this that can give me some pointers?
