ok so I just finished building my new computer. the case I have is a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1. you can see a picture here http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Chaser-VN300M1W2N-Tower-Black/dp/B0051U1XMI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top so everyone thing is finished and working fine but there is a light on the reset button that I assumed was supposed to blink when the hard drive is working. well this light has never onced blinked even when i press the button to reset. I made sure i connected the HDD LED connector to the right spot. any help would be great, thanks

When you checked the HDD LED connector, was the polarity correct? Since an LED is a diode (the D in LED), it will only light when connected one way. It won't hurt anything to have the LED connected with the wrong polarity, it just won't light.

Some connectors have an arrow pointing down to one of the terminals. That terminal is positive, and if your motherboard has the positive terminals marked, the arrow should go there.

The connector for the HDD is not 1 positive and 1 negative that are separated, its 1 connector with positive and negative combined into 1 connector. and yes its in the right way.
