[SOLVED] Hdd not showing up in boot or disk management

i installled a new ssd drive which clips directly into the mother board, but since installing this my hdd no longer shows up in boot or disk management

Parts details, please. Motherboard, drives, etc, etc.
Specific make/model of everything.

Sounds like a shared sata port. Move your drive to another sata port (2, 3 or higher).
