HDD Problem !

Hi, i got a WD 500 GB HDD, it was working fine before my last upgrade, my last upgrade was adding an OCZ VECTOR 128GB SSD, now both SSD and HDD are connected in my rig, the problem is, when i want to run a file or open a directory IN THE HDD it takes about 2-3 seconds to run or open. that worries me a lot, can anybody tell me what is going on please ?

Windows 8.1 64 bit

Which drive is the OS on?

Asked cause when i upgraded to a faster drive the older drive became very slow. the prob was solved when i installed a 64bit OS. But in your case it seems to be some other prob.

The OS is in the SSD.

it seems that your HDD goes in to sleep mode check your energy settings
