1 - For some time my current system has this issue where sometimes especially on startup it almost maxes out the HDD slowing so much else down
This is also why I had to disable auto-updates for things
I forget when it started exactly
I am thinking if I get a second HDD and either somehow redirect the computer to use that for virtual memory or move anything not essential to the OS to the 2nd HDD, that would help?
2 - How do I tell how much power is available in my system? I do not want to overload the system
3 - If I get an external drive where does it get power from? It has been years since I tried an external drive and then they got power from their own plug but the ones I see now do not have that
4 - When a program says SSD required, what does that mean exactly? Does the program have to be on the SSD drive or something else?
