HDD Running "Warm"

I have an issue with my HHD in my laptop. I believe because of Windows my HDD runs at 100% utilization and that is causing it to run "warm", but 45 Celsius seems a bit outside the "norm" for temperature. Mind you this is just running Windows and Chrome, but it should not be running like this for extended periods of time. Any help would be appreciated.

A typical temperature for a HDD in a typical desktop system which has far more airflow than a laptop drive is 35C. I haven't check drive temperature in any laptop I've had but considering that they have zero airflow to help cool them, I can easily imagine them running a fair bit warmer.
