I have two new dives in my system, a 250gb ssd and a 2tb wd blue hdd.
I've installed windows on the ssd which works just fine, but in file explorer the hdd doesn't show up, just the ssd. Both drives appear in bios but the hdd is showing 0GB. I've tried initialising the hdd but it says that the capacity of the drive is under the minimum requirements for initialising a drive. Inisialising the drive would fix the problem but it won't let me do it.

The connections are all fine, I've tried with different sata and power cables but the same problem keeps coming up. I'm pretty sure I got a faulty drive or something. I've tried using that software to better understand the problem but it says the drive is healthy, and still says 0GB/MB.

Understood. It is a SATA type and should have no impact on whether the HDD works or not. Does your BIOS recognize the HDD?

Do you have access to another PC or to a USB enclosure to test the HDD on an alternate system? Disk Management won't let you do anything with the drive, is that correct?
