Recently I cloned the data from a 750 gb Seagate Hard Drive to a better 1 tb Western Digital Hard Drive using a program called Macrium Reflect. The transfer worked, but for some reason Reflect has capped the amount of data I can use on the new hdd. Basically, I can only use 750 of the 1000 gbs. When I open Reflect, it shows the available 750 gbs with another 250 grayed out and un-usable. Please tell me how to fix this.

Hey there, ScarfWizard!

Good job with the HDD upgrade! :) I'd recommend you to go to Disk management in Windows and check how your new WD drive appears there. The greyed-out part of the drive should be listed as unallocated. You should be able to either extend the currently cloned partition or to create a new one by right-clicking on the 750 GB or the 250 GB volume.
Here's a thread where the user had a similar issue and got it resolved by extending the partition: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1767935/full-hdd-capacity-cloning.html
Here's a link to our knowledge base that explains partitioning if you want to create a new with these 250 GB: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=5pMjXD

Sounds like it created a partition just for the transfer and left the unused section unformatted.
I like to use MiniTool Partition Wizard Free for my HDD tasks.
Most likely are going to have to format that unused space, and then merge the partitions.
Its pretty easy to do, and the software is beginner friendly.
