HDD size question

I wanna get WesternDigital Green 2Tb hdd but the problem is my case (Apevia X-Cruiser3-GN Metal ATX Mid Tower) only has 2.5" HDD slots.....Does the hdd have to go into the hdd slot or can i place somewhere else?

you can externally mount it or you could probably just stick it somewhere inside the case with tape or something, there is no way to adapt 2.5 bays to 3.5 however. So bring out the duct tape 😉

You've used up all 4 internal 3.5" drive bays?

And you can buy a mounting kit to put the drive in the 5.25" drive bay, but the airflow through those slots usually aren't the best.
