The problem I have is that I turned on my PC but it started a random "automatic update" so I did it, it failed so I continued to log in and I have had issues since, all of my files are gone, the start button doesn't work, all I can do is go on Registry Edit, Command Prompt using Windows Key + R

I have tried the command systemreset -factoryreset in cmd but when I go to delete files, it gets stuck on 1% then freezes.

This image is what I receive when I first log on.

gibson4.l , the best thing here is to take the computer to a repair shop to properly identify the problem (which looks like to be the HDD) thus when your cool parents buy you a new HDD they are buying the right piece of equipment for you.
I only have 1 HDD, I have the only computer in my house so I can't hook it up to another system. My parents said they would buy me a new 1tb hard drive but not sure if I should.

Also did my mean to make your answer a -1 solution.
