[SOLVED] HDD - surprise removed

My PC was built 1 year ago. All new parts.
About 1 month ago my HDD started acting up.
It gets disconnected and reconnects again. Event viewer was filled with "Disk 1 has been surprise removed." EventID 157
I spent several days troubleshooting the HDD and nothing came up.
The fix was to switch the power connector with another one.
It worked until today.
Have you ever dealt with this?

Drive is alive and well.
Bad power cable - twice in a row, not likely
Bad data cable, I changed it
Bad PSU - I need to prove this so I can send it to warranty
Bad motherboard port - switched port along with cable

so I took it out and surprise: the SATA connector was coming loose. I replaced the connector with the old one and the problem went away.
