HDD to SSD cloning

I purchased a 480GB SSD to change my 1GB HDD, I only need to transfer OS, however my computer does not recognize the SSD via Sata to USB. I see it in device manager, EasyUS also do not recognize the SSD to clone. What am I missing?

Have you properly set up the SSD as a drive in Disk Management? If not then I would do that.
Also you cannot transfer only the OS. You can either clone your whole HDD to the SSD or reinstall Windows fresh onto the SSD.
