I've looked at many forums and haven't found a fix. The problem is when I go into my bios (f2 / del) my hard drive doesn't show up. My sata cable isn't loose and I've tried connecting it to the boot drive on my motherboard but that didn't work either. When I try to install windows 10, it says no drivers were found and to connect a flash drive although the windows 10 installation came off of a reformatted flash drive. I also have the f6flpy drivers in that USB but they aren't compatible . If there are drivers needed for my hard drive or my USB drive, can someone please link me? Thanks

did you verified the sat power cable in the hard disk?

change both the sata cable and the power cable

if that doesn't help, try with another psu

can you connect that hard disk in another pc? if the hard disk is not seen there, the hard disk died, you need a new hard disk
if your hard drive isn't showing in the bios, it's very possible the drive is either bad, or the settings for the drive in Bios are wrong. Try messing with the legacy/IDE/SATA/ mode setting and see if that makes a difference.
If the drive was working fine and now it isn't, without changing any bios settings, it's a bad drive.

HP tower model p6531c . Back with 10 again. First thing download ISO files. Realize HP repair partition is out of date and not upgradable now. Using tool download from Microsoft I upgraded to 10 again, then ran it again to download ISO files to jump drive. Assume if I have to use it I should change boot order in BIOS and boot from the jump drive? Appreciate any help/advice here. Problem is this must be some type of malware. Please tell me what I can expect if I have to use the jump drive

To use the flash drive, you must change the boot order in the bios, or if your system has it, an F key that brings up a boot menu during bootup. If you get into the boot menu and do not see your flash drive, you have to go into the bios and disable the uefi/secure boot settings first so that the flash drive can be "trusted" to be booted from.
